What is the Music Studio?

RHYMEBOOK's Music Studio lets you turn your lyrics into full audio demos using AI. Access it from the Studio tab in the app. It combines voice-to-text transcription, AI music generation, and synced lyrics display — everything you need to hear your words come to life.

No musical instruments, recording equipment, or production experience required. Write your lyrics, choose a style, and let the AI handle the rest.

Studio Modes

Write Mode

Transcribe lyrics using voice-to-text. Speak or rap your lyrics and RHYMEBOOK converts them to text in real time. Perfect for capturing ideas on the fly.

Collaborate Mode

Real-time multi-user writing session. Write lyrics together with collaborators while in the studio — everyone sees edits as they happen.

Generate Mode

Create AI-generated music from your lyrics. Select a genre, mood, energy level, and instrumentation — the AI produces a full instrumental track paired with your words.

Demo Gallery

Browse and manage all your generated tracks. Play, rename, delete, or publish demos from the gallery. Each demo includes the audio track, synced lyrics, and metadata.

Voice-to-Text Transcription

Speak or rap your lyrics and RHYMEBOOK transcribes them in real time. The system uses ElevenLabs technology with a feature called keyterm biasing — it's tuned to recognize music vocabulary for higher accuracy than standard speech-to-text.

Recognized terms include:

bars, hooks, flow, verse, chorus, bridge, rhyme, beat, tempo, melody, harmony, ad-lib, punchline, metaphor, simile, and hundreds more music-specific words.

The transcription also detects audio events like music playing, silence, and ambient noise — so it knows when you're speaking versus when background audio is playing.

Select your lyrics, choose a style, and generate a full demo track. The AI creates instrumental backing that matches your lyrics.

Synced Lyrics (Karaoke Mode)

Generated demos include word-level timing synchronization. When playing back a demo, lyrics highlight in real time — like karaoke. Each word lights up exactly when it's spoken or sung in the track.

Voice Cloning (Pro)

Pro tier users can create a digital clone of their voice. Record voice samples, and the AI learns your vocal characteristics — tone, cadence, and style. Use your cloned voice to preview how lyrics sound before recording a real take.

How voice cloning works:

Record voice samples (the more samples, the better the clone)
The AI builds a progressive model of your voice
Select your cloned voice when generating demos
Preview lyrics in your voice before going to the studio

Voice cloning is available on the Pro plan ($24.99/mo) with up to 3 voice clones per month.

Publishing Your Demos

Save and publish your best demos to share with the community. Published demos appear on your profile and in the Explore feed where other writers can discover them.

How do I create a demo in RHYMEBOOK?

Music generation is available on Plus (3 generations/month) and Pro (10 generations/month) plans. The free plan includes 1 generation per month so you can try it out.

What is voice cloning and how does it work?

Voice cloning (Pro only) creates a digital model of your voice. Record voice samples, and the AI learns your vocal characteristics. You can then preview how lyrics sound in your voice before recording. The clone improves with more samples.

Can I download my generated demos?

Yes. Generated demos can be saved to your device, shared via link, or published to your RHYMEBOOK profile. Published demos are accessible on the web at rhymebook.com/@username/demos.

How accurate is the voice-to-text feature?
