Definition
Surem (noun): Street slang in Chicano rap and West Coast gang culture for a Sureño gang member, short for 'Sureño' (Spanish for 'southerner'), affiliated with the Mexican Mafia (La Eme) and reppin' the number 13. Often associated with blue rags, Southside hoods, and rivalry with Norteños.
