Simulacre
Definition
In hip-hop culture and linguistics, a 'simulacre' (from French philosopher Baudrillard's concept) is a hyperreal imitation or counterfeit image that replaces authentic reality—think fake flexes, social media personas, or manufactured gangsta myths that blur truth and illusion, often called out in conscious rap for frontin' on the real.
Used in lyrics
