Parabatai
Definition
Parabatai (n): Borrowed from Shadowhunters lore in Cassandra Clare's novels, meaning two warriors ritually bound as eternal partners, closer than blood brothers, sworn to fight, protect, and never betray each other. In hip-hop slang, used for ride-or-die best friends or crew members with an unbreakable, oath-level loyalty forged in street struggles, beefs, or come-ups.
