In hip-hop and Latin street slang, especially Mexican and Argentine trap/reggaeton, 'mataderos' (pl. of 'matadero,' slaughterhouse) refers to literal slaughterhouses or metaphorically to violent kill zones, gang execution spots, or brutal street battles where rivals are 'slaughtered' like animals. Evokes carnage, body dumps, and narco-warfare.
