Definition
In hip-hop culture, 'la-la-la-la' is an onomatopoeic interjection consisting of repetitive, melodic nonsense syllables used in rap hooks, choruses, ad-libs, or verses to create catchy rhythms, evoke a party vibe, simulate being high or carefree ('la-la land'), or dismiss haters by mimicking plugging one's ears and humming.
