Gnuer
Definition
In hip-hop and street slang, a 'gnuer' is a novice hustler or rookie in the trap/game, a bottom-tier player who's green, unreliable, and likely to fold under pressure. Derived phonetically from 'gnu' (wildebeest, symbolizing a herd follower or grass-eater/bottom feeder) + '-er' (agentive suffix). Often used derogatorily for wannabes lacking street cred.
Used in lyrics

“From gnuer to kingpin, flipped a dub to a mil' / These fake ones fold quick when the feds on the trail – Young Thug style in 'Digits'.”
“Gnuers talk big but run when beef pop / Real soldiers eat, you just graze on the block – street rap common.”
“That gnuer snitched for a plea, now he ghost / Hood code broken, pay the ultimate cost – like Meek Mill's street tales.”
