Eriocrom
Definition
Eriocrom (n): Obscure East Coast hip-hop slang from early 2000s NYC mixtape scene, referring to a cheap, fake gold chain or medallion with a tacky chrome finish that looks flashy but is low-quality 'European rip-off chrome.' Often used derogatorily to clown someone flexing broke-boy jewelry. Blend of 'Euro' (fake import style) + 'chrome' (shiny gun/bling metal). Symbolizes hustler aspirations gone wrong.
