Definition
In hip-hop, Spanglish, and Latino street slang, a 'brometo' is a corny, lame, or overused joke, punchline, or pickup line that falls flat, often roasted in rap battles or lyrics for lacking originality or heat. Derived from Spanish 'broma' (joke) with a twist for something weak and bromide-like.
